Toronto man ends his life to avert horrors of Huntington’s disease

Canadian thestar.com published a story (September 7, 2012) written by Robert Cribb, about a Toronto man with Huntington’s disease, who ended his life to avert the ultimate consequences of an horrible dying bed because of his disease, and had to do it himself. Although “personal stories” are not usually published on  this sitethe whole story  gives such an impressive insight in the matter of free choice (at the end of life) and the consequences of the absence of appropriate laws legalising the possibility to assist someone with his dying, that I -webmaster- decided to make this exception and publish the story here. Above all this article describes the whole process from a number of perspectives and with due care and integrity.
