On October 8, 2019 Exitus Ry Finland launches the idea of a “Dying Will” (advance directive). The idea is that someone can declare and sign his/her position concerning assisted dying in certain circumstances when the prognosis is poor and she/he is suffering. A lot of media attention is expected. A working Group installed by the health minister is working on palliative care and assisted dying in the future in Finland.
