Book on end -of life decision making: Do Go Gentle

A Californian emergency physician writes down his experiences with the death of his father after a devastating stroke. Chris Stookey: “Though death by terminal dehydration was preferable to a drawn out death in the ICU or in a nursing home, death by dehydration was nonetheless a less than ideal way to die. My father would have preferred a gentler, doctor-assisted end-of-life option. My book argues for that option based on the experience we had”. A link to his book “Do Go Gentle” can be found here.
