The Dutch Association for a Voluntary End of Life (NVVE) warns against unreliable websites that offer illegal suicide drugs. People are increasingly reporting to the NVVE that the ordered products are not delivered at all.
Offering suicide drugs is illegal and assisted suicide is punishable in the Netherlands. In the absence of a legal remedy that guarantees a dignified death, many people search the Internet for options. There they come across websites where all kinds of resources are offered for sale. In the end, however, nothing is delivered.
