This week, the Cuban Ministry of Public Health Law presented a new draft public health law to the Cuban Parliament. One of the most innovative topics is the recognition of euthanasia as a person’s right to a dignified death and as a form of care and health care through a medical procedure that causes death. Other Spanish-speaking countries Colombia and Spain already permit euthanasia.
