DESCRIPTION:A feature-length documentary of one woman’s battle to expand the right to die in Vermont \nSaturday\, April 11th\n1:30 to 4:00pm\nAllied Gardens Benjamin Library\n5188 Zion Ave.\nSan Diego\, CA 92120 \nOther Side is a documentary that premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2025. The 90-minute film chronicles the true story of Lynda Bluestein\, a terminally ill cancer patient\, whose courageous legal battle opened the door for out-of-state residents to access Vermont’s MAID law. A discussion of the film will be led by the Hemlock Society’s Board of Directors. We are proud to honor Lynda Bluestein’s legacy by bringing you this free screening of her story. \n\nClick here to watch the trailer.\n\nParking is free at the library.
