Volker Kauder (CDU) has announced his plan to propose a new Assisted Dying Bill in the fall of this year. This new Bill will further restrict the possibilities for legal assistance with suicide (now legal in Germany!) by explicitly make not only assistance “with profit”, but also assistance by a RtD organisation ilegal. Under the leadership of lawyer (and Bundestagabgeordente) Ingrid Matthäus-Mayer a coalition to oppose this initiative has formed with the following participants:
