Since the end of 2021, when Sten Niklasson joined the WF Board, it has been enriched by his relevant observations and recommendations, always expressed with great clarity and not infrequently accompanied by his great sense of humour. It was a great pleasure to work with him and we were very sad to learn that, due to personal commitments, he has decided to step down from the WF Board. But we also understand and support his decision.
Fortunately we were able to meet in person at the Dublin congress, as we, in the Board, had only seen him by zoom, as he was unable to go to the Toronto congress in 2022 due to being ill with COVID.
We want to express our enormous gratitude for all that he brought to us and wish him all the best for the future.
