A special Committee has been determined by the Justice Committee as the most appropriate route to progress towards legislation for Voluntary Assisted Dying. As a single issue time-bound committee, with access to international medical/legal expertise and research carried out over the last 20 plus years, professionals in Ireland are well placed to draft policy for legislation which protects everyone.
