Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill to be delayed in Parliament (Northern Territories, Australia)

In August last year an expert panel recommended, after extensive consultation – that the NT should legislate for voluntary assisted dying.

The Territory was the first jurisdiction in the world to legislate it almost 30 years ago – but now we are the only jurisdiction in Australia where it’s still not legal.

Independent Member for Johnston Justine Davis explains why she’s delaying the bill.
