WFRtDS raises its voice in support of New Zealander Suzy Austen who is before the Wellington District court being accused of three charges connected with assisted suicide, all of which are denied by her.
Ms Austen was remanded on bail until July, when in a pretrial conference with judge and lawyers will be held, and a date for the trial will be set, surely to be next year. WFRtDS hopes this court case will set Suzy Austen free from prosecution and will by its decision convince New Zealand politicians to speedily proceed on the path of legalization of aid in dying.
