Why a magazine, and why now.
Assisted dying is now lawful for terminally ill people in a growing number of jurisdictions. Decades of advocacy have turned what was once dismissed as unthinkable into a democratically established right for millions of people.
But the laws that exist are under constant threat, from well-resourced opponents, strategic litigation and organised misinformation. The Quarterly gives the movement a shared platform to exchange knowledge, expose misinformation, celebrate victories and learn from one another, so that wherever we are on the journey, we move forward together.
What's in every issue.
Written for general readers as well as lawyers and doctors.
