Purpose and Scope

This Email Communications Policy outlines how the World Federation of Right to Die Societies (“WFRTDS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses email to communicate with our member societies, partners, supporters, and the general public. This policy applies to all email correspondence sent to and from domains owned by WFRTDS, including @wfrtds.org.

Confidentiality and Sensitive Information

Due to the nature of our work, communications may involve sensitive topics.

  • Do Not Send Sensitive Data: Standard email is not a fully secure method of communication. We strongly advise users not to send highly sensitive personal information, medical records, or private legal documents via standard, unencrypted email.
  • Confidentiality: All emails sent by WFRTDS representatives are intended solely for the named recipient(s). Unauthorized review, use, disclosure, or distribution of our email communications is strictly prohibited.

Security, Phishing, and Spoofing

WFRTDS takes email security seriously.

  • All outbound emails are scanned for viruses and malicious software. However, we cannot guarantee that any email is virus-free. Recipients are responsible for using their own virus protection software.
  • WFRTDS will never ask for passwords, bank account details, or sensitive financial information via email. If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from us, do not click any links or download attachments. Please report it by Contacting Us.

Record Retention

In accordance with our organizational policies and legal obligations, WFRTDS may retain email correspondence for operational, historical, or legal purposes. Emails are stored on secure servers with restricted access.
