As usual, the biennial WF Awards (Marilynne Seguin and Health Professional) were presented during the final evening dinner at the Amsterdam Conference.
The Marilynne Seguine Award was presented to Fay Girsh, for her long-standing dedication to the Right to Die, in the World and in the USA .
James Downar, a Canadian medical doctor, received the Health Professional Award because of his speaking, research, PR, academic interest, outreach and mentor ship in support of assisted dying and his continued efforts to engage in dialogue and maintain cordial relations with all parties while digging into evidence both for and against assisted dying.
