2012 Report on Washington’s Death with Dignity Act available

As is obligatory according to the Washington Death with Dignity Act, the State’s Health Department published the 2012 numbers. Main results are that 121 people applied and received medication in 2012. Of those 104 are known to have died: 83 after ingestion of the medication, 14 without. Of 3 death’s a connection with the medication is not known. The 83 using the DwD Act died mostly at home (89%), with a 92% enrollment in hospice care.
