Euthanasia Bill rejected in Bulgarian Parliament

As was expected, the Euthanasia Bill proposed by left-wing MP Lyuben Kornezov was rejected in the Bulgarian Parliament. Of the 110 attending MP’s (from a possible 240) only 13 voted in favor, with 29 abstentions. Kornezov pointed out – in defense of “his” bill – that euthanasia has been around since ancient times, giving the Thracians as an example.
