Julia Hanway, president of Hemlock Florida reports: “It is with great sadness that I am reporting on the death of Frank Kavanaugh, Hemlock of Florida board member and long-time advocate for the death with dignity movement. Frank was a great advocate and friend of the movement. He had graciously accepted a position on the Hemlock of Florida board, but had recently made it clear that he was increasingly devoting his time to his wife’s care and could only participate as an adviser.”
We at the WFRtDS remember Frank because of the significant role he played in media relations for the WF conference in Chicago in 2014.
Frank will be sadly missed and the loss of his great wisdom and input will be a tremendous loss to the movement.
