Elke Baezner, president of the German Right to Die Soceity DGHS, has been attacked when in a meeting. The attacker threw butter acid at her and a colleague, causing skin and eye injuries. After treatment in hospital she could go home to recover. She said: “..a bottle of Butter Acid, even if it burns terribly, is not enough to intimidate me. More than ever before I am decided to defend our right for a Self Chosen Death”. Read the DGHS press statement (German) here.
