The chair of The Commission on Assisted Dying, Lord Falconer, promised at the launch of the Commission on November 30, that the inquiry of his commission will be objective and dispassionate.
The Commission is funded by author Terry Pratchett, who himself is suffering from Alzheimer’s, and businessman Bernard Lewis. The Think Tank DEMOS will act as its secretariat, providing administrative and research support.
