Journal article: Oversight in MAID

Author Sean Riley discusses proper oversight of MAID given the wave of new legislation in countries such as Spain, New Zealand and Colombia versus “old” systems in the Netherlands, Belgium and the USA. The article reviews compliance in each jurisdiction with regards to specific safeguards and legal criteria to protect patients as well as ensuring access without adding to the administrative burden on clinicians.
