Pam Oliver graduated and was awarded a PhD of Philosophy in Law at The University of Auckland. Her thesis is called “Another week? Another week! I can’t take another week” and deals with the barriers to effective access to legal assisted dying through legislative, regulatory and other means.
During her research she travelled around the world, interviewing numbers of experts in the different jurisdictions with regulations on this matter, and desinged a model to compare all those, reaching an advisory schedule for New Zealand (and other jurisdictions that contemplate legalisation).
