This month a Quebec Parliamentary Select Commission on assisted dying in dignity, published its report, the result of a year long period of receiving written submissions from all over the world and many province wide public hearings.

Our friends from AQDMD are …… proud to say that Netherlands and Belgium’s openness helped us a great deal in our battle for the right to die in dignity.
We hope that the laws will follow in a year or less. We will keep the pressure since the catholic conservatives will not abdicate soon and they are very well organized.
But the first step is done. Unanimity between all parties does not happen often.
