Scottish Parliament’s Health committee continues hearing on assisted suicide bill

The Health Committee of the Scottish Parliament continued its deliberations and hearings on the (Margo MacDonald’s)  Bill to legalise assisted suicide in Scotland. Doctors who specialise in palliative care have been giving evidence to MSPs on Holyrood, arguing that a change in the law would be unethical and if established at all the Assisted suicide law ‘needs tougher safeguards’.  Read here the BBC report on that day.
