Activated by the Schiavo case, Louise Pallett, new President of the South African Voluntary Euthanasia Society (SAVES), has been speaking all over the country about Living Wills. Their small, part-time staff is strained in getting documents to people. Though the organization is not initiating euthanasia legislation, some interest has been expressed which they will support.
