Pierre Beck, vice president of Exit in Western Switzerland, prescribed pentobarbitol to a healthy 86-year old woman who wanted to die with her terminally ill husband in 2017. The federal court already overturned his conviction once, in 2021, upon which the Geneva prosecutor’s office sought an appeal.
