Switzerland: membership to German-speaking Exit increases 13%

The organization is seeing strong growth in its membership as society ages and people see and experience the consequences of severely debilitating illnesses or disabilities; EXIT (German-speaking Switzerland) saw 2300 new members join in January alone, 92,000 members take advantage of the offer to deposit their living wills with EXIT.

Last year, 1252 members decided to die self-determined and accompanied by EXIT German-speaking Switzerland, 11 percent more than in 2022. The year-on-year increase in 2022 was 15.4 percent.
