In the Tasmanian House of Assembly the End of Life Choice Bill is sent to a third reading. The vote was 17 pro and seven against it. Amongst the pro were members of parliament who had previously voted no. Go Gentle Australia says this is the best indication yet that Tasmania is set to become the third Australian state to legalise voluntary assisted dying.
A final vote is expected in March 2021.
