The Economist: ‘Death is inevitable, a bad death is not’

This week’s cover of the Economist stated ‘How life ends. Death is inevitable, a bad death is not’.

In this issue, they indicate that the newspaper called for legalization of doctor-assisted dying, so that mentally fit, terminally ill patients can be helped to end their lives if that is what they wish.

They call medicine to take some simple steps, to give people the end they want. They also state that better palliative care is needed.

The Economist is considered an influential British magazine. The full article can be read here.
