Australian Capital Territory passes VAD law

The Australian Capital Territory parliament voted overwhelmingly to support the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2023 on June 4th with 20 votes to 5. Federal parliament prevented the ACT and Northern Territory from debating or passing VAD laws for 25 years.
