The Canadian federal law on assisted dying, passed in June 2016, excludes mature minors, those with mental illnesses and those facing degenerative conditions. A bill that would make some positive amendments to the law died when the government prorogued Parliament in August 2020. The Canadian (BC) Humanist Association is asking your support.
