The Regional Euthanasia Review Committees published their annual report on incidences in which assistance in dying was administered. There was a 13.7% increase in notifications, which represents 5.1% of total deaths in 2022, compared with 4.6% of deaths in 2021. According to the committes, this upward trend in absolute and relative numbers has been visible for a number of years.
