Queensland 5th Australian state with VAD legislation!

On Thursday September 16, Queensland has become the fifth Australian state to legalise voluntary assisted dying! Parliament voted to pass the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2021 into law without amendment, 61 votes to 30. About 50 amendments were proposed and debated but none of them succeeded.
