UK: Isle of man second reading assisted dying bill

A second reading of the proposed assisted dying bill 2023 has prompted a range of responses including a survey showing that 74% of Isle of Man Medical Society members – 745 doctors- are against the new bill. By contrast, former Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey travelled to the island to discuss why he hopes that the bill will be accepted.
