Washington: SB 5179 increasing access to MAID is adopted

On February 28, our member End of Life Washington sent us the news that SB 5179, Protecting Access to Medical Aid-in-Dying Act, was voted in. The bill increases access to the provisions of the Washington death with dignity act. The vote landed 28-20 — which is a margin of victory to celebrate.
