Zoom series by Hemlock Society of San Diego

This summer, Hemlock Society of San Diego will present an ongoing series of free programs on various aspects of the right to die. The programs are led by board members Faye Girsh, founder of The Hemlock Society, and Ken Watson, Co-chair of the Media Committee.

The series begins on June 24, 2021 and will continue on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 2:00 to 3:30 pm PDT. Topics will include Assisted Dying in Switzerland, Fear of Death, Philip Nitschke, Hospice, Canada, Directives, Dementia, and many more. The programs will continue for at least 10 weeks on Zoom and will be free and open to anyone.

Content will be drawn from YouTube videos, Ted Talks, miscellaneous short videos, interviews, and films, with the last half hour reserved for your questions and discussion with Faye and Ken. These sessions are a supplement to the Hemlock Society RTD film series which will continue on the 3rd Sunday of the even months. These Thursday sessions will cover non-fiction happenings.  Session 1 will be about Switzerland and services provided there.
