DWD Canada starts new webinar series

After their six week webinar campaign on grief that ended on June 10, Dying With Dignity Canada is excited to announce a new webinar series. These online presentations will be this June, July and August:

Clinicians and navigators from Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia will join us to discuss various topics surrounding death and dying in Eastern Canada. Some focal points include general attitudes towards death and dying, palliative care resources and supports, as well as information about medical assistance in dying (MAID).

DWDC will be joined by nurse practitioners Valerie Cooper and Elizabeth Leonardis, who will share their insights, experiences and perspectives related to end-of-life care.

DWDC will be joined by photographer Ruth Steinberg who documented the life of her friend and neighbour, Alma, prior to her assisted death in November 2020. End-of-life consultant and death doula, Chelsea Peddle, will speak to us about legacy projects as a creative and personal way to connect with those who are dying.
