On Monday August 16, the Luca Coscioni Association managed to collect the 500.000 signatures needed for a referendum on the legalization of euthanasia. Since the launch of the referendum in April, more than 500.000 people now signed the petition.
In a press release, Marco Cappato said to the Vatican: “No one will be obliged to choose euthanasia.”
